Gabrielle’s practice includes criminal and quasi-criminal matters, as well as common law matters, particularly those involving institutional liability. She also accepts briefs in all areas of public and administrative law, including disciplinary and regulatory proceedings, inquests, and inquiries.

She accepts briefs to advise and appear in all courts and tribunals.

Immediately prior to coming to the Bar, Gabrielle worked as a Senior Solicitor in the Specialist Trial Prosecutions Team at the Office of Public Prosecutions. In that role, she managed a large file load made up of complex indictable matters involving homicide, serious driving matters, sexual offences, family violence, drugs and fraud.

Gabrielle has particular experience in complex sex matters, indictable matters involving children and questions of doli incapax, and matters involving death.

Prior to this, Gabrielle was a Manager at PwC in New South Wales, where she worked predominantly in the International Tax Team.

Gabrielle read with Jessie E Taylor and her senior mentor is Nanette Rogers SC.
