Adrian Strauch

Adrian Strauch has an extensive commercial law practice advising upon and appearing in County, Supreme and Federal Court cases both in Victoria and interstate as well as appearing at Arbitrations and Mediations and appearances before professional bodies and tribunals.

Adrian also has comprehensive experience in Criminal matters in all jurisdictions including trial work. Adrian also occasionally appears at the Magistrate’s Court and in VCAT in a varying range of matters.

Adrianís broad corporate and commercial litigation practice encompasses most aspects of commercial law including constructions law and includes advisory work on complex commercial matters (Including international and cross jurisdictional agreements) and drafting commercial and corporate agreements and litigation pleadings. Adrian also occasionally appears as junior Counsel aiding Senior Counsel in demanding and complex commercial disputes particularly where the material is voluminous.

Prior to coming to the bar Adrian was a Solicitor for several years at an inner city law firm, in corporate and commercial litigation practice, including as an advisory to the International Finance Corporation (USA), and the Overseas Private Investors Corporation (USA) in Afghanistan for the funding of major infrastructure projects.

Adrian completed a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science at Monash University and Adrian studied International Jurisprudence and International Arbitration at Uppsala University, Sweden.
