Susan has experience in commercial law, business law, property law, wills, probate and family provision applications, and with guardianship and administration matters.

Her experience includes matters relating to leases, easements, caveats, co-ownership, as well as handling planning, building and construction matters and disputes, and general contractual disputes.

She has also represented clients before licensing and disciplinary tribunals, and appears in the Supreme Court, County Court, Magistrates’ Court and in the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.

Before joining the Victorian Bar, Susan had practiced at the Northern Territory Commercial Bar after being managing partner and supervising commercial partner of De Silva Hebron in Darwin for many years, and then as in-house counsel at a large Northern Australian private consulting land survey firm.

She was also Chairman of the Racing Appeals Tribunal of the Northern Territory for several years and had been a Member of the Board of Darwin Community Legal Service Inc and the Northern Territory Legal Practitioners’ Complaints Committee.
