As a barrister, Angela has developed a practice primarily in areas relating to families and the legal challenges and disputes that confront ordinary people in their everyday lives. She is committed to a legal practice which is less adversarial and does no harm.

Angela joined the Bar after 24 years as an academic in the creative arts area.

Angela has a particular interest in ADR. She is a graded arbitrator with the Resolutions Institute and was formerly an elected member of the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators National Council 2004 – 2010 and President in 2008/9.

She has been a mediator since 2002 and a nationally accredited mediator since 2008. She was a member of the National Mediator Accreditation Committee, which implemented the National Accreditation Standards in Australia. She mediates in most areas including employment and industrial relations, the education sector, family relationships, wills and estates, and arts law.

Liability limited by a scheme approved under Professional Standards legislation.
