  1. Independence
    Conducted many jury trials as Counsel on behalf of the Crown since 2001; provided opinions / recommendations (as required) to the Director of Public Prosecutions in relation to charges to be pursued or discontinued based on available evidence and law.
  2. Significant trials
    Prosecuted multi-complainant sexual assault trials involving tendency and coincidence evidence, trials involving children as complainants, multi-offender trials for serious assaults, and police officers for various matters including possession of child abuse material, child sexual assault and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
  3. Leadership
    Briefed to instruct and/or lead many junior prosecutors in their first jury trial; lectured at the Police College in courses from detectives to superintendents on current law.
