A broad range of commercial disputes, such as:
- General contractual matters;
- Partnership, shareholder and trustee disputes;
- Sale of business disputes, including restraints of trade;
- Consumer protection claims, including misleading and deceptive conduct claims;
- General insurance matters, including professional negligence claims;
- Property litigation, including retail lease disputes;
- Banking and finance, particularly mortgage and guarantee litigation;
- Onsolvency matters ranging from bankruptcy to liquidators’ claims
- Large scale fraud recovery matters (including obtaining search and freezing orders); and
- Environmental litigation, and in particular claims made under s62(2A) of the Environment Protection Act 1972;.
- General negligence claims, including personal injury matters (both statutory benefits and common law claims), as well as class actions; and
- Royal Commissions. Most notably in 2009 to 2010, in the Victorian Bushfires Royal Commission and 2013 to date, in the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.

- Immediately before joining the Bar, Lindy was a Senior Associate at Herbert Geer & Rundle (now Thomson Geer), in the Commercial Litigation Group.
