He practices extensively in Personal Injury actions (transport, industrial and general accidents) in all jurisdictions: Magistrates, County and Supreme Courts, VCAT and AAT, and both in Melbourne and on circuit. Counsel prepares and runs serious injury applications as well as trials and mediations.

Christopher has extensive experience in the Medical Negligence and defamation fields.

He acts for veterans in Commonwealth AAT reviews of entitlements, and has also acted for numerous survivors of the HMAS Voyager Melbourne collision for in excess of a decade. These latter actions have involved questions of limitation laws and their extension or avoidance, including by equitable estoppel, in Victoria, New South Wales and the ACT. They have also involved issues of Private International Law, Choice and Conflict of Laws and interpretation of the Judiciary Act and the Constitution.

Additionally, counsel has considerable experience in Trade Practices actions, both for personal injury and consumer/business type disputes.

Christopher acts in Commercial disputes involving Property Law, Insurance claims (especially the Commonwealth Insurance Act), contractual and building disputes.

In Wills and Estates, he has conducted and mediated many part IV applications, as well as questions of Will and Trust construction.

Being admitted also to the New South Wales Bar, he has appeared in the District and Supreme Courts of New South Wales, and in the Workers Compensation Court in Sydney, Albury and Wagga.
