Jason practises primarily in criminal law, including regulatory and quasi-criminal matters. He is available to appear in all metropolitan and regional courts.

Prior to joining the Bar, Jason was a solicitor at the Office of Public Prosecutions where he conducted a broad range of criminal proceedings including summary appeals from the Magistrates’ and Children’s Courts, indictable stream matters, regulatory agency prosecutions, County Court sentence breach proceedings and bail applications in the Supreme and inferior courts.

Jason previously served as a Senior Associate to his Honour Judge Frank Saccardo of the County Court of Victoria. Jason gained extensive experience across a broad range of matters in both the criminal and common law jurisdictions including complex research, pleas, de novo appeals, bail applications, serious injury applications and both criminal and civil jury trials.

Jason is reading with Damien Hannan and his Senior Mentor is Elizabeth Ruddle KC.
