We are delighted to congratulate list member Matthew Weinman on his election to the Victorian Bar Council for the 2025–2026 term.
The Victorian Bar Council is the governing body of the Victorian Bar. It is responsible for the strategic direction, governance and good administration of the Bar, and plays an important role in maintaining professional standards, promoting advocacy excellence, and supporting barristers throughout their careers.
Matthew’s election reflects the respect he holds among his peers and his commitment to contributing to the profession beyond his own practice. In addition to his criminal practice, Matthew consistently demonstrates leadership and dedication to the advancement of the Bar.
