Chapman’s List Barristers is delighted to welcome new reader Elliott Young who will sign the Bar Roll on Thursday 2 May 2024, upon his successful completion of the Victorian Bar Reader’s Course.
Elliott practises primarily in criminal law, including regulatory and quasi-criminal matters. He is available to appear in all metropolitan and regional courts.
Prior to joining the Bar, Elliott was Associate to her Honour Judge Ellis and his Honour Judge Holding of the County Court of Victoria. Elliott gained extensive experience across a broad range of criminal matters including pleas, de novo appeals, bail applications, and jury trials. He conducted high-level legal research and has a particular interest in evidence law.
